Who am I?
Hi, I'm Mariko, the creator of Japan Epic Travel! As someone who grew up in Japan and has a deep love for traveling, I've always enjoyed exploring the country's lesser-known spots. I started this blog to share my personal recommendations and insider tips, helping visitors experience Japan beyond the usual tourist routes. Over the years, I've traveled extensively across Japan, from the bustling streets of Tokyo to remote mountain villages and coastal hideaways. Each place has its own unique charm, whether it's a centuries-old temple hidden in the woods, a family-run ryokan with warm hospitality, or a small eatery serving the best local dishes.
